Isabel Jacobs

Isabel Jacobs was born in 1984 in Barcelona, Spain, to a family of modest means but with a rich cultural heritage. Her early education was marked by her parents' emphasis on hard work and intellectual curiosity, which laid the foundation for her future academic pursuits.

She attended the prestigious Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) at the age of 17 to study Economics, where she excelled in her studies and graduated with honors in 2006. After completing her undergraduate degree, Jacobs went on to become a full professor of Economics at the University Pompeu Fabra, one of Spain's top universities.

Throughout her academic career, Jacobs has been involved in various collaborations with leading international economists and has held advisory positions for governments and international organizations such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank. Isabel Jacobs is currently married to Jordi, with whom she has two beautiful children. In her free time, she enjoys hiking in the mountains, reading classical literature, and practicing yoga to maintain her physical and mental well-being.
